The Raiders brought Doppio in to document their championship game — a full sideline shoot capturing the intensity, emotion, and culture of Charlotte’s pro am football scene. This wasn’t a highlight reel. This was the whole story.

/ Challenges

Shooting fast-moving athletes in real time with no second chances on key moments. Balancing sideline access with the need to stay out of the action while staying close enough to capture it. Delivering images that feel like the magnitude of a championship, not just a regular game day.

/ Objectives

Capture the full arc of the game — the big plays, the sideline energy, the celebrations and the grind. Give the Raiders a visual library worthy of their championship moment. Document a piece of Charlotte football history the right way.

Process

Championship games move fast and don’t slow down for anyone.
The approach was anticipation over reaction — reading the field, knowing where the moment was going before it happened, and being there when it did.
Scouting the field and sidelines before kickoff to identify the best angles and light conditions.
Shooting continuously through key moments to ensure nothing was missed.
Editing with a bold, high-contrast treatment that matched the energy of the game.
Delivering a final gallery that the team, the fans, and the city could be proud of.
